Hi, I’m Kirsten.

I’ve always loved being outside. Looking back, I realize what I loved wasn’t simply being in nature—it was noticing it. The light filtering through the trees, the texture of moss, the quiet movement of water, the intricate details that are so easily overlooked. Photography helps me capture moments. Forest therapy helps me understand why they matter.

Today, I’m honored to be a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) and a nature photographer. While these are two different paths, I feel they share the same purpose: inviting people to slow down, notice what is often overlooked, and become more open to the possibilities that have been there all along.

Through my photography, I hope to reveal the beauty, wonder, and quiet moments that might otherwise go unseen. Through nature therapy guiding, my hope is much the same—to create space for you to see yourself, your life, and the possibilities before you from a different point of view. Sometimes, a gentle shift in perspective is all it takes to uncover clarity, gratitude, or a new path forward.

I created Moss & Stone Nature Therapy Guiding because I believe nature offers us something we often forget we need: permission to simply be. Just as moss teaches us to slow down and stones remind us that each step can lead somewhere new, I believe nature has a gentle way of helping us find steadiness, possibility, and perspective.

One of the guiding philosophies I cherish is that the forest is the therapist; the guide opens the door. My role is not to teach, fix, or lead the way, but to thoughtfully create a welcoming space where you can reconnect with your senses, your own inner wisdom, and the living world around you.

Whether you’re seeking peace, clarity, healing, or simply a chance to step away from the demands of everyday life, I would be honored to open the door and guide you into an experience where nature can do what it has always done best.

Grounded by Nature. Guided by Possibility.
